Foreigner at Count Basie was great.
The band and the show were just like we remembered, playing the songs we loved to hear. They sounded wonderful. I'd love to give the full 5 stars for this situation if it were not for a below issue.
Perhaps there needs to be some rule in all arenas about when late comers can be led to their seats (perhaps only between songs?). But dozens and dozens entered constantly during and until after the first few songs, blocking our view as they were led to seats. Most of us go to the trouble to be there early enough to sit before the performers begin. Many left early. Even Kelley commented on stage about all the late comers and asked if they would be leaving before the end as well? How about a note on tickets to arrive at least 15 minutes early or you will be held until the song has ended? We'll all enjoy ourselves and love the whole long set that way.
